HOW TO OBTAIN KEYBLED
=====================
KeybLED is presently available as a source tarball, or a Debian package. If
you would like to contribute a binary package for your favorite distribution,
please let me know!

The latest KeybLED source code tarball can be obtained from
http://www.aurel32.net/linux/keybled.php3

REQUIREMENTS
============
In order to successfully run KeybLED, you need KDE >= 2.1 and Qt >= 2.2.4. It
may run on KDE 2.0 (and a similarly deprecated Qt), but this has not been
tested. If you try, please contact me with the results (success or failure)!

To compile KeybLED, you will also have to have the following packages
installed:
* kdelibs-devel
* libqt2-headers
* GNU C++ compiler. For help on obtaining this, please refer to your
installation documentation.
* autoconf and automake

COMPILATION AND INSTALLATION
============================
In order to compile and install KeybLED on your system, unpack the archive
into a directory and type the following:

% cd keybled-0.52
% ./configure
% make
with "su" you get root rights
% make install

Please don't forget the prefix argument to configure. If your KDEDIR variable
isn't set, set prefix to whatever directory KDE is installed in. It's usually
either /usr, /opt/kde or /opt/kde2.

Since KeybLED uses autoconf and automake you should have not trouble compiling
it. Should you run into problems please report them to me
<aurelien@aurel32.net>.
